Using Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Ed with VMWare
Submitted by phecht on Sat, 2010-11-20 08:44If you use VMWare Fusion and decide to try Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Ed trial software, it is not as easy as the two-step method described here: http://www.vmware.com/landing_pages/fusion-trial-vms.html
1) You do have to download the 3 files. That will take some time.
2) After that you need to import it twice. The page above only mentions importing the file once. You select the EXE and then click on the new Import and select the file again. If you have 3 uncorrupted files, it should finally import the virtual machine (VM).
3) If you start the VM, you will have to watch Windows 2003 restart.
4) When it restarts you will be asked for the password for the Administrator. The password is "Evaluation1". Supposedly it is in a readme.txt in one of the three files downloaded, but on a Mac you can't uncompress the files, so how do you know? I googled it and found this page: http://www.techtalkz.com/windows-server-2003/41313-2k3server-vhd-trial-p...

A Better Browser then Internet Explorer
Submitted by albert on Wed, 2006-09-06 20:57Microsoft gives you a free browser. This is very nice. It is called Internet Explorer (IE).
One problem I have with IE is how much spy ware is delivered by just using it. I and you have an alternative. It is called Firefox.
