Notepad is a day planner

Maybe I am the only on to use notepad for jotting down notes at work.
Two things I like about notepad:
- F5 function key inserts a time stamp.
I use the F5 key to mark when I start and stop doing something I want to track. Such as work activities.
Hit F5 again and you can an end date.I have tried other time tracking tools and while they were great at reporting, I could never get the data into the system. With notepad notes, I can go back and fill in the better time keeper from the raw log from the time I was actually working.
- It cleans html to just basic text.
When I copy some text from the web, a lot of applications are too smart. I just want the text, not the formatting. Notepad does this very well. Just the text, nothing but the text.
